Supervizuelna u studiju – VIKTOR ŠEKULARAC
U novoj epizodi Supervizuelne u studiju posetile smo radni i životni prostor umetnika Viktora Šekularca. Razgovarali smo o njegovim iskustvima života i rada u Parizu i Njujorku, motivima koji ga kontinuirano inspirišu i koje često fotografiše, o ličnom pristupu radu, ali i o brisanju granica između fotografije i drugih umetničkih medijuma. Pokazivao nam je svoje fotografske radove, nešto od opreme, kao i fotografsku knjigu pod nazivom Strah od života (La Peur De La Vie). Finalno, Viktor je istakao da je najvažnija stvar u umetnosti i kreativnom radu zabaviti se. In the new episode of Supervizuelna in the Studio, we visited the working and living space of artist Viktor Šekularac. We talked with him about his experiences of living and working in Paris and New York, the motifs that continuously inspire him and that he often photographs, his personal approach to artistic practice, as well as the blurring of boundaries between photography and other artistic media. He showed us his photographic works, some of the equipment he uses, and his photobook titled Strah od života (La Peur de la Vie). In closing, Viktor emphasized that the most important thing in art and creative work is to enjoy the process and have fun. Viktor Šekularac (Beograd, 1980) je grafički dizajner i fotograf. Studirao je na Fakultetu primenjenih umetnosti u Beogradu, na Odseku za fotografiju. Njegovi radovi objavljivani su u brojnim časopisima i publikacijama. U periodu od 2003. do 2006. godine bio je zvanični grafički dizajner i fotograf Nezavisne umetničke asocijacije Remont i umetničkog časopisa Remont u Beogradu. Učestvovao je na brojnim izložbama u Srbiji i inostranstvu. Trenutno živi i radi u Parizu.

Viktor Šekularac (Belgrade, 1980) is a graphic designer and photographer. He studied at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Photography. His work has been published in numerous magazines and reviews. From 2003 to 2006, he was the official graphic designer and photographer for the Independent Art Association Remont and for Remont art magazine in Belgrade. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. He currently lives and works in Paris.
