Supervizuelna u studiju – TADIJA JANIČIĆ
Treća sezona serijala Supervizuelna u studiju započinje epizodom u kojoj razgovaramo sa umetnikom Tadijom Janičićem. Posetile smo njegov atelje u Kineskoj četvrti u Novom Sadu, gde smo se dotakli različitih tema u vezi sa njegovim radom i stvaralaštvom, od pronalaženja ateljea do pojedinačnih aspekata njegovog stvaralačkog postupaka. Tokom videa se u prostoru ateljea mogu videti radovi na kojima trenutno radi, poput slike Opsada Kotora, ali i različiti primeri dela na kojima je radio, oslikana platna, vaze, daske za sečenje i drugi pronađeni predmeti sa buvljaka ili iz svakodnevnog života. Time svoju praksu ne samo kroz medijum već i pristupom i temom vezuje za banalne aspekte svakodnevnice. The third season of the Supervizuelna in the Studio series begins with an episode featuring a conversation with artist Tadija Janičić. We visited his studio in Novi Sad’s Chinatown, where we touched on a range of topics related to his work and artistic practice, from finding a studio space to specific aspects of his creative process. Throughout the video, works currently in progress can be seen in the studio, such as the painting The Siege of Kotor, as well as various examples of earlier pieces, including painted canvases, vases, cutting boards, and other found objects from flea markets or everyday life. In this way, his practice is connected to the banal aspects of everyday life not only through its medium, but also through its approach and subject matter.
In addition to emphasizing the importance of a relaxed and unpretentious approach to art, Tadija also spoke about how he finds inspiration in a wide range of places, from interviews with Marina Abramović and exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art to comic books and radio. Tadija Janičić (1980) je iz Nikšića u Crnoj Gori. Diplomirao je na Odseku za slikarstvo na Fakultetu likovnih umetnosti, a postdiplomske studije završio je na Akademiji umetnosti, oba u Novom Sadu.
Kao student, Tadija je dobio Nagradu za najboljeg mladog umetnika u klasi crtanja 2001. godine, nagradu YU palete mladih 2003. godine, a kasnije i Prvu nagradu 37. Salona Novog Sada 2008. godine.
Do sada je imao brojne samostalne izložbe u Mađarskoj, Japanu, Crnoj Gori i Srbiji. Takođe, redovno je učestvovao na grupnim izložbama, među kojima su Östersund kunstvideofestival (Švedska, 2004), Art Clinic u Muzeju savremene umetnosti u Novom Sadu (Srbija, 2005), Kulturni centar Srbije u Parizu (Francuska, 2007), Galerija Lukas Feichtner u Beču (Austrija, 2010), Muzej i galerije savremene umetnosti Erarta u Sankt Peterburgu (Rusija, 2012), Galerija le Club des Arts pri Savetu Evrope u Strazburu (Francuska, 2013), Nest Gallery u Ženevi (Švajcarska, 2015) i mnoge druge.

Tadija Janičić (1980) is from Nikšić, Montenegro. He has an undergraduate degree from the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts and a postgraduate degree from the Academy of Arts, both in Novi Sad.
As a student, Tadija received the 2001 Award for the Best Young Artist in the Class of Drawing, the 2003 YU Palettes of the Young Award and, later, the First Award of the 37th Salon of Novi Sad, in 2008.
So far he has held numerous solo exhibitions in Hungary, Japan, Montenegro and Serbia. Moreover, he has regularly participated in group exhibitions at the Östersund kunstvideofestival (Sweden, 2004), Art Clinic in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad (Serbia, 2005), the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris (France, 2007), Lukas Feichtner Gallery in Vienna (Austria, 2010), the Erarta Museum and Galleries of Contemporary Art in Sankt Petersburg (Russia, 2012), the Gallery le Club des Arts at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg (France, 2013), Nest Gallery in Geneva (Switzerland, 2015) and many more.
